Koichi Kubota Profile

Born in Yokohama City, Kanagawa.Graduated at Tokyo College of Photography.

HISTORY

1995

Based in Florence, Italy and worked all over Europe as a photographer.

1996

Entered YOKOO STUDIO Co., Ltd and started advertising photographs.

2002

Photography exhibition at T.Y.HARBOR, Tennouzu Isle, Tokyo.

2003

Photography exhibition at the Kodak Photo Salon, Ginza, Tokyo.

2004

Co-founded the artist group called ‘agence de genseirin’with Akira Kosaka.

2007

Published Towards Holy Lands with a novelist Seira Ozawa from Tokuma Shoten Co., Ltd. Photo exhibition‘The passage from Holy Lands’ at Kodak Photo Salon, Ginza, Tokyo. Photography exhibition ‘Holy Lands’ at Aoyama Book Center, Tokyo. Photography exhibition ‘Holy Lands’ at Otemachi Café, Tokyo.

2008

Ran the photography course at Kagawa Nutrition University.

Multimedia exhibition (Photography, singing, dancing and talks) ‘Okinawa, the prey of Kudaka island’ at Tokiwadai-Tenso-Shrine, Tokyo. Appeared at the NHK TV program ‘Bino-tsubo (A pot of Beauty) file210 “Torii (The shrine gate).
